Meta Launches ImageBind AI
Meta has announced a new open-source AI model called ImageBind, which links together multiple streams of data, including text, audio, visual data, temperature, and movement readings.
Basically, it's an AI that combines multiple types of data, such as text, audio, visual, temperature, movement, and depth, into one system to create more immersive and realistic experiences.
The model could be used in future virtual reality devices that emulate a user's physical stage and environment. Meta is open-sourcing the underlying model, which is an increasingly scrutinized practice in the world of AI.
Again it's time to start taking Meta as a top 3 AI company after OpenAI/Microsoft and Google.

Wendys AI Developed by Google
Wendy's is partnering with Google to launch an AI chatbot that can take orders at its drive-thrus, hoping to reduce long wait times. The chatbot can take verbal orders and will appear on a screen for line cooks.
Wendy's employees will monitor the AI-powered drive-thru when it starts testing it in June, and customers will have the option to speak with a human if the AI cannot get their order right.

Watch Google AI Robots play Football (Not soccer š)
Google's DeepMind has developed miniature humanoid robots fitted with AI that can play football, make tackles, score goals, and recover from falls when tripped. The AI researchers first used DeepMindās MuJoCo physics engine to train virtual versions of the robots in decades of match simulations.
The simulated robots were rewarded for improved performance, such as winning the ball or scoring a goal. Once the basic skills were learned, the AI was transferred to real-life versions of the bipedal bots, who were able to play one-on-one games of football with each other without additional training.
The robots learned a strategic understanding of the game and developed safe and effective movements.
