I get a lot of questions about the prompts I feature (especially the Quicksilver Prompt) and some people want to understand how the prompt works, I’m currently working on a prompt (or tool) to help with breaking down prompts. Essentially, you paste a prompt and it breaks down each section of the prompt and tells you what it does.

OpenAI Trademarking GPT
If you’re building in the AI space, this is definitely a HUGE one, a lot of things will Change.
First off OpenAI is trying to trademark “GPT”, the first application was dismissed but they’ll be trying again and according to a lawyer it’s possible they’ll succeed (if IBM can trademark then so can GPT)
OpenAI applied for the trademark last December, but the US Patent and Trademark Office rejected a petition to speed up the process last week because of a missing fee and supporting evidence. The decision could take another five months to go through.
Also, OpenAI launched a Brand Guidelines doc yesterday and this one is interesting.
From this doc, All the AI tools I’ve built are “brand Infriging”, and so is every AI tool that ends with “GPT”.
Also if you write content they got something for you too! A lot of journalists can’t manipulate ChatGPT to say something bad anymore, then say “ChatGPT said it”.
The key term is “with” and “by” which changes a lot.
If you run an AI tool, you need to get to changing your name, I’ll also be doing the Same.
Google brings generative AI to cybersecurity
Google has announced Cloud Security AI Workbench, a cybersecurity suite that uses a specialized "security" AI language model called Sec-PaLM.
The suite is designed to incorporate security intelligence, including research on software vulnerabilities, malware, threat indicators, and behavioral threat actor profiles. Sec-PaLM will be used to find, summarize, and act on security threats, as well as help users search security events and interact "Conversationally" with the results.
Google plans to roll out the suite to "trusted testers" in the coming months, but it is not clear how well Sec-PaLM works in practice.
China’s New AI Laws
China's Cyberspace Administration has released draft administrative measures for generative AI services, marking the first rules in mainland China to require data protection, non-discrimination, “absence of bias”, and quality of training data in generative AI products and services.
The measures also cover content moderation, security assessment, and algorithmic transparency, with the first provision of Article 4 stating that all services provided to the public in mainland China should embody socialist core values and should not contain false information or anything intended for subversion, separatism, or dividing the territory.
IKEA AI Furniture
Swedish furniture company IKEA has teamed up with design agency Space10 to explore the use of AI-generated furniture designs. The AI models were trained using old IKEA catalogs from the 1970s and 1980s, resulting in some retro-inspired designs.
Although the AI furniture looks stylish, some of the generated designs are not practical. As a result, Space10 plans to launch an AI design competition to solicit ideas from humans who can fine-tune and curate the designs.
