ChatGPT 4 Launches

Most of you might already know by now but ChatGPT 4 has launched and it's stunningly amazing!

OpenAI has announced the release of GPT-4, which is capable of generating content from both images and text prompts. The text-input feature will be available to ChatGPT Plus subscribers and software developers, while the image-input ability remains a preview of its research.

GPT-4 represents a vast improvement over its predecessor, GPT-3.5, scoring in the top 10% in a simulation of the bar exam, compared to the older model's bottom 10%. The new technology is expected to play an increasing role in office work, with Microsoft using GPT-4 to power its Bing search engine.

In a tweet, Sam Altman (Founder of OpenAI) said “it is still flawed, still limited, and it still seems more impressive on first use than it does after you spend more time with it.”

Well, let me be impressed.

With the Update GPT-4 is now capable of advanced reasoning, OpenAI researcher Jason Wei said GPT-4 is now ‘human-level’ on many hard tasks. (before it was surface level). It also now keeps context for longer, which means you can now provide ChatGPT with over 25,000 words of text! This unlocks new use cases like long-form content creation.

Google AI Launches

Google has announced a range of new generative AI capabilities and features for developers, including a new PaLM API and MakerSuite for app development, generative AI capabilities in Google Cloud, and new integrations for users of Google Workspace. including a "magic wand" feature for Google Docs that can draft marketing blogs and training plans. Microsoft has added new artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities to its supply chain management platform, Dynamics 365 Copilot, to help supply chain managers track potential risks and generate predictive insights. Once Copilot flags an external risk, supply chain planners can use AI to draft an email to suppliers to send alerts and mitigate potential disruptions. Microsoft launched its Supply Chain Center in November 2021 as a command center that unifies data across enterprise resource planning (ERP) and third-party management solutions to solve existing supply chain challenges. Other tech companies, including Amazon Web Services and Oracle, have also been leveraging data to promote supply chain visibility.
