Microsoft took a 2 weeks break from dropping new AI features then just did a madness!

Microsoft is adding plug-in support to Bing Chat and is working with OpenTable for its Bing Actions reservations feature, Wolfram Alpha for visualizations, and OpenAI to allow developers to plug into Bing Chat.

Microsoft didn’t stop there when it came to improving Bing, they unveiled a major upgrade to Bing that includes video and image search results, restaurant bookings, chat history, and Microsoft Edge integration, making Bing Multimodal just like the full GPT-4.

The upgrade also introduces a new Actions feature that allows users to use Microsoft's Bing AI to complete tasks without navigating between sites. The chatbot also features image and video search results, a new chat history that allows users to pick up conversations across devices, and export and share features.

Finally, Microsoft also removed the Bing waitlist so no more list, come one, come all!

The only problem I see here is ChatGPT and Bing AI keep feature clashing, like why would I pay for ChatGPT Plus when Bing uses GPT-4, Has plugins, and connects to the internet?

This could either end in one of two ways, a huge disagreement between both parties or Microsoft acquiring OpenAI altogether.

Meta Warns of Malicious ChatGPT

Meta's Q1 security report highlights the growing occurrence of fake ChatGPT malware that aims to hack user accounts and take over business pages. The report reveals that malware operators and spammers are following high-engagement topics to trick users into trying a fake version of AI chatbots like ChatGPT, Bing, and Bard.

Meta security analysts have found about 10 forms of malware posing as AI chatbot-related tools since March, some of which exist as web browser extensions and toolbars. These malicious ChatGPT tools even have AI built in to look legitimate, making it challenging to differentiate them from authentic chatbots.

Driverless Construction Robots

California-based startup Built Robotics has developed a large autonomous construction robot that can quickly create utility-scale solar farms. Built says that a two-person crew using the RPD 35 robot can install up to 300 piles per day, which is three to five times faster than what is currently possible.

The robot not only increases efficiency but also enhances worker safety by reducing noise exposure and hazards. Built plans to begin customer deployments of the RPD 35 before the end of 2023 while continuing to look for new ways to automate solar construction sites.
