Microsoft is set to launch a faster, simpler, and more flexible version of Teams. Along with these improvements, the new version will also include some exciting new AI features. One such feature is Copilot, an AI assistant that can help with tasks like scheduling meetings and providing recaps. Copilot can be invited into group chats or will appear in meetings and chats on the sidebar to assist with various tasks.

Additionally, the business chat function of Copilot will exist as a chatbot that can help users pull data and information from across Microsoft 365 services and apps. Currently, the preview is only available to commercial users and is not yet available on Mac.

Zoom also dropped a similar AI Feature in partnership with OpenAI. These features include AI-generated summaries, message drafts, and more. One of the most noteworthy features is the ability to catch up on meetings that users may have missed due to being late, thanks to the AI-generated summary.

Unofficial Meta AI

A couple of weeks back Facebook, I mean meta, dropped a model for their ChatGPT rival called ChatLLaMA, initially, it was only available to researchers but it got leaked a couple of days later and devs have been running it on their PCs. Well, finally we got a dev who has managed to launch it in a ChatGPT-like interface for anyone and everyone to use. Tested it and to be honest it's not bad.

So far so good, it’s been pretty good at direct tasks, not the best when it comes to coding though.

All the images above are AI-generated with Midjourney v5 but people are falling for it and I don’t blame them, the pope's image in particular looks hyper-realistic.

Disney Reveals Robots With Emotionally Intelligent AI

Disney has showcased new robots at SXSW, which use advanced AI to create an emotional connection with the audience. The AI can copy emotional data to produce highly resonant facial expressions and vocal performances.

The robots will be deployed in Disney theme parks, allowing guests to interact with iconic characters. In a demonstration, a robot modeled after the character Judy Hopps performed acrobatics on stage, showing the technology's capabilities. It's not clear how Disney plans to use the robots in the parks, but there are concerns about interactions with guests and potential vandalism.

From the Demo, it looks super fun, and would love to see this implemented, just a personal opinion.
