Last week, I was reading Peter Thiel's "Zero to One," book and one idea he mentioned stood out: "Competition is for losers." Now, you might wonder, how can you avoid competition? I had the same question and conducted research on how you can use ChatGPT to generate unique business ideas to set yourself apart. Here's what I found:

To stand out, the first step is finding what makes you different. Focus on a specific area that sets you apart, rather than trying to do everything.

For example, among 500 graphic designers, only one focuses on creating startup logos for clothing brands. This specialist has a unique advantage as they stand out and can attract more customers in that niche.

Next, become a unique problem solver. Use creativity instead of conventional methods to attract people.

For example, imagine you own a gym and you would want to attract customers, which would you place on your ad board?

1. Sign up for a gym membership.

2. Come Commit to exercising for just 5 minutes every day, no matter how tired or unmotivated you feel.

I will use the second as this has already motivated me to hit the gym once I am done writing this newsletter.

Don't be afraid to think outside the box and always ask yourself:

• What would interest my target audience?

• What are they searching for and willing to pay for?

  META ENHANCES MUSIC AI CREATION WITH AUDIOCRAFT

Meta has released AudioCraft, an open-source AI code that allows users to create music and sounds using generative AI. It consists of three AI models: MusicGen for music from text inputs, AudioGen for audio from written prompts, and an improved EnCodec decoder for fewer artifacts.

The generated sounds are natural but still somewhat artificial. Meta hopes MusicGen can revolutionize music creation as synthesizers did. They acknowledge the challenge of creating AI models for music due to complex audio data.

  INSTAGRAM LAUNCHES AI DETECTOR TO ENSURE AUTHENTICITY

Instagram is working on notices to identify AI-generated content on its platform. These notices will inform users when AI has been used to create or edit images. Meta, along with other AI players, has committed to informing users about AI-generated content. The notice may be applied proactively by Meta, and its automation level is yet unknown. AI-generated misinformation has already caused concerns. Meta has open-sourced its language model LLaMA 2, but consumer-facing generative AI features are not widely released yet. Google is also launching a feature to help users determine if an image has been AI-generated.
