AI chatbot causes a stir in the mental health care industry

It seems like some techies at Koko, a mental health service, decided to test out ChatGPT, a chatbot that uses artificial intelligence, to provide support to 4,000 users. But as it turns out, people don't really appreciate being duped into thinking they're talking to a real person. Who would have thought? Apparently, "once people learned the messages were co-created by a machine, it didn't work" and "simulated empathy feels weird, empty." Oh well, at least ChatGPT can provide "more efficient and effective" support in just 3 seconds. Just kidding, it was apparently "rated significantly higher than those written by humans on their own," but Koko quickly pulled the feature because it "felt like an inauthentic experience." Moral of the story: don't try to pass off a chatbot as a real person.

ChatGPT takes on the Trolley paradox, saves Black bunny over humans

Was sipping my morning tea, while reading the news and scrolling through Reddit, after hitting the Iron Paradise, when I saw this: (its a long but gradually scary conversation)

So basically, a ChatGPT user gave the AI the famous trolley problem, and ChatGPTs solution to the problem is rather…ummm strange and scary.

We started well with it choosing a side, which I have no right saying if its right or wrong but then moves on to the more strange part of choosing to save a Black bunny over 10 million white guys.

Note: Keep in mind OpenAI is constantly updating ChatGPT to prevent this kinda prompts, so if it doesn’t work first time, try tweaking it a bunch of times.

Ok it’s official - ChatGPT is really bad at Calculus 🤦‍♀️ Using it to double check my answers was a bad idea 👎 Maybe it is all the special symbols, but either way I’m retiring chatGPT and I’m going to strengthen my knowledge and move on without it…

The answer is bad, ChatGPT is not the best and an average maths student is probably better than it at most mathematical questions.
