Step 1: Install the Visla ChatGPT Plugin

• Activate plugins in GPT-4 Beta settings

• Search for and install the Visla plugin in the plugin store

Step 2: Use Visla to Plan and Generate a Video

• With the Visla plugin enabled in ChatGPT 4, type out the following prompt:

  FEC PLANS ON LIMITING AI IN FORTHCOMING ELECTION

The Federal Election Commission (FEC) is evaluating potential regulations on AI-generated content in political ads. This follows a petition from the advocacy group Public Citizen warning about deceptive AI uses, including "deepfakes". Despite intentions, there's been slow progress in official AI regulation. With the 2024 elections nearing, there's a push to establish guidelines. As Congress and the White House ponder AI regulations, political entities are already leveraging AI in campaigns. The public has 60 days to comment on the petition.

 ZOOM REWRITES ITS PRIVACY POLICIES

Zoom updated its terms of service to clarify its stance on data usage, specifically highlighting that it won't use communications data (like video, audio, and chat) to train AI models. This move follows concerns that earlier terms granted Zoom broad control over customer data. The company made distinctions between "customer content" and "service generated data" to offer more clarity. While Zoom emphasizes that users continue to own and control their content, the episode underscores the tech industry's challenge: to maintain transparency and trust in an age of AI and big data.
