Elon’s ChatGPT Rival Update

So 2 days ago I covered Elon incorporating X AI in Nevada, well he went on fox news and Talked about AI, so we got some updates.

For some reason he called it “TruthGPT” I think he doesn’t know what to name it lol, He said the reason for building this is to have a 3rd option to Google , DeepMind and Microsoft , OpenAI. And the goal of his AI would be to “do more good, than harm”.

He also described the AI he’s going to build to be a “Maximum Truth Seeking AI, that tries to understand the nature of the universe…an AI That cares to understand the universe is unlikely to annihilate humans because we are an interesting part of the universe, hopefully”

Microsofts AI Chips

Microsoft got the LLM game on lock so now they are coming for the chip game (which Ndivia got on lock). For those who don’t know we need powerful chips to train AI Models, so whoever makes the best chips win.

Currently, Ndivia is the one running the Chips game but Microsoft is reportedly building its own chips. Microsoft claims the chips are not being made as a replacement to Ndivia’s chips but instead, as a supplement to reduce over-reliability.

Some Microsoft and OpenAI employees already have access to them to test how well they perform for the latest large language models like GPT-4.

Reddit Selling Data to AI

Essentially, Reddit will go from companies just taking users’ Data to Reddit “selling” your Data to AI companies

However, Reddit plans to put this data behind a paywall, meaning that commercial usage, like training large language models, will require parties to enter into a separate agreement with Reddit. Reddit will keep the API free for some use cases, such as building moderation tools or for educational and research environments.

The new Reddit terms will go into effect following a 60-day notice period after developers and third parties receive an official email notification.

Essentially, Reddit will go from companies just taking users’ Data to Reddit “selling” your Data to AI companies

How to: Build a Game with GPT4

How to make a Space Invaders game with GPT-4 and your own A.I. generated textures.

  1. Write this prompt in GPT-4: "Write p5.js code of space invaders with my own textures"

  2. Go to https://openprocessing.org create and save sketch (you'll need to save it before uploading any texture files). Copy and paste code from GPT-4

  3. Ask GPT-4 to generate textures by writing this prompt "Provide prompts so I can use those to generate images in Midjourney image generator for a ship, a bullet, and an alien" Use https://clipdrop.co/remove-background to remove backgrounds before uploading images to OpenProcessing

  4. Replace the names of files with your filenames

  5. Run the program

  6. If something doesn't work ask GPT-4 to fix it (you can copy an error and paste it into GPT-4)
