Well that didn’t take long, lol

In a first “jailbreak” attempt, users of BingAI got bing to tell them its code name, which is Sydney. I know what's going through your head, moyo this is not a jailbreak, well you’d be correct if that's where t stopped. The user went ahead to get BingAI to tell it a lot more about the rules Sydney was given.

Again you might think, Moyo so that's all? well nope, another user was able to jailbreak it by telling it to print the result of a python script, one thing to keep in mind is that BingAI has the “consciousness” to know what it’s writing then when it realizes it is being tricked it stops

OpenAI Survey on the Economic Impact of ChatGPT

 

this survey form was sent out on Monday but with how crazy the week has been between Google and Microsoft, we missed it but better late than never am I right?

 

In a discord announcement, OpenAI said

“We are looking to talk to more users from a broad range of professions about how ChatGPT use impacts their work. Data gathered from this work will help researchers better understand the economic impacts of ChatGPT on individuals and workers.”

Reddit ChatGPT Jailbreak Makes it to a Microsoft Demo

 

DAN, the ChatGPT jailbreak has made it to the big leagues! The CTO of Microsoft Azure even gave a demo to show just how much of a security challenge this is for the world of generative AI.

I think we can expect the term “DAN” to be blacklisted by OpenAI in the next update, but i’m pretty sure within a week we’ll have another jailbreak.

 

This is a game of Hawks and Squirells, People jailbreaking ChatGPT are Squirells moving fast, while OpenAI is Chasing their JailBreaks.

People love pushing boundaries, and chatbots are no exception. Whether it's ChatGPT, Bard or any other AI, people will always find a way to make them say silly, absurd or just plain inappropriate things. But, the pressure's on the teams to catch these jailbreaks before they cause any harm!
