Apple is developing its own AI tool to compete with OpenAI and Google. The company has built a chatbot referred to internally as "Apple GPT" and has created its own framework called "Ajax" to develop large language models. Although Apple has not finalized its strategy for releasing the technology to consumers, it aims to make a significant AI-related announcement next year.
The internal rollout of the chatbot was initially paused due to security concerns surrounding generative AI, but it has since been made available to more Apple employees with special approval. Employees are using the chatbot for product prototyping, such as text summarization and answering questions based on trained data.

Meta will launch the Open Innovation AI Research Community to foster transparency and collaboration among AI researchers. The focus will be on privacy, safety, and refining large language models. Meta's role will be to facilitate the community rather than lead it.
However, skepticism remains due to Meta's past controversies and the lack of initial resources dedicated to the initiative. The community aims to create positive dynamics and representative models but faces competition from existing open machine-learning research communities. The application deadline is September 10, welcoming diverse researchers with AI experience.

Starting a SAAS/AI business without a proper assessment is like heading out on a long drive to an unknown area without using a map or a GPS. Sure, you might eventually find your way, but without a clear direction, you're likely to make unnecessary diversions, wrong turns, and maybe even hit some dead ends.
But there's a smarter way to approach this. Before committing to an idea, it is crucial to validate it and ensure that there is a demand for what you're offering. And the best part? You can do it without even developing a product up front.
Here's a simple and direct method to validate your business idea:
Create a basic landing page design using templates in tools like Figma. These templates make it easy to design a visually appealing page without any coding knowledge.
Convert your design into an actual landing page and publish it online. There are user-friendly website builders available, such as Framer that allow you to bring your design to life quickly and effortlessly.
Add a form to your pricing page to collect user information. This form will help you gauge interest and gather valuable leads.
Allocate a small budget, as little as $10-$15 per day, for social media ads. By targeting your ideal audience through social media advertising platforms like Facebook, you can drive relevant traffic to your website.
After a week of running your ads, measure the number of email sign-ups you receive. This metric will provide indicate whether there's genuine interest in your business idea.
By following this approach, you minimize the risk of building something nobody wants. It's a straightforward and cost-effective way to validate your ideas, allowing you to focus your efforts on developing products that have real demand.
